A Nevada gambling license has been suspended amid a state crackdown on online gambling.
The state Department of Gaming issued a statement Monday saying Nevada Gaming Control Commission is investigating a suspected fraudulent gaming license application.
The license suspension comes as more states across the country are cracking down on online casinos.
A federal judge ordered the states gaming regulators last week to provide details about how they plan to prevent gaming fraud, which is also known as “black hat” gaming.
The Nevada Gaming Commission is in the process of issuing an interim suspension.
